 Synopsis  Information
Megan Morgan is as Welsh as her name and proud of it. She's a terrific 13-year-old athlete, already a track and field all-rounder. She can sprint, jump and hurdle better than most in her age group, and her mum, Anne, reckons that as Megan develops physically she will easily cope with the throwing disciplines that go to make up the ultimate test of a female athlete - the heptathlon. Megan has started to compete for the county as a sprinter and long jumper, but her mum believes this is only the beginning. Anne was likewise a keen athlete in her youth, and where she failed, she is determined her daughter will succeed. Megan loves athletics but she also wants to be like her friends - a normal thirteen-year-old enjoying the things normal thirteen-year-olds enjoy. But because of the way Anne controls Megan's life her friends drift away and her athletic performances begin to suffer. Ages 7+.
